My First Book Reading

It was my first Book Reading after my aneurysm surgery and I was really nervous. I had to find someone to drive me there because I was not able to drive more than half an hour on my own. I also needed someone to take pictures for me. I really needed help.

The person I got to drive me was the same person who helped me years back when I was having problems with my weight. I later discovered he was a personal trainer. The relationship got so close he adopted me as his Mom.

Funny how things happen…

I called him up and asked him if he was doing anything that day and he was able to give me a ride. He really helped by carrying my bags to every classroom, setting up and taking pictures. I thanked him for his help, after which he answered, “Anytime Jojo it was nothing”. It is a blessing to have great relationships.
